What is the PBISE exam?

The Pre-Board International Scholarship Examination (PBISE) is a free online diagnostic and scholarship exam sponsored by BITS Pilani Dubai Campus and conducted by Edzok. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is meant for Grade 12 students. Those selected in the Merit List of PBISE are eligible for scholarships worth up to 50% on the first year tuition fee and provisional admission to BITS Pilani Dubai Campus.

Who is eligible to appear for the PBISE exam?

The exam is eligible for the following students: Current Grade 12 Students (appearing for exams in 2026) and Recent Graduates (who passed in 2025). Note: Students who passed in 2024 or earlier are not eligible. Students currently in Grade 11 (appearing in 2027) should apply next year.

The exam is completely online and multiple choice question (MCQ) based. It is for 3 hours.

PBISE for Engineering (BE) programmes: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of Grade 12 curriculum only. PBISE for Management (BBA) programme: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning.

Any device with stable internet connection can be used to take the test. Browser Requirement: Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox is mandatory (do not use Safari, Edge, etc.). Connectivity: A stable, high-speed internet connection is required.
