These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the official website of the Pre-Board International Scholarship Examination ("PBISE"), located at https://pbise.in, and your registration for and participation in PBISE. PBISE is operated by Edzok226 Innovations Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "our", "us").

By accessing the website or registering for PBISE, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or register for the exam.

This summary is provided for convenience only. The full Terms below govern in case of any conflict.

What PBISE is. PBISE is the official sponsored scholarship examination of BITS Pilani Dubai Campus ("BPDC"). BPDC sponsors PBISE; the Company operates it under that sponsorship. Scholarship awards are made by BPDC at its discretion, in accordance with criteria published by BPDC.
Free to take. Registration and the examination are entirely free. We will never ask for payment, gift cards, recharge codes, or any other consideration. Report suspected fraud to support@pbise.in.
Not an admission guarantee. Eligibility for or receipt of a PBISE scholarship does not guarantee admission to BPDC or any other institution. BPDC takes its own consent and verification at the time of application for admission.
Your data rights. You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Grievances. Concerns, complaints, or data-protection grievances may be sent to support@pbise.in. We acknowledge within 24 hours and respond within 30 days. Unresolved grievances may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.
Communications. Registration consents to transactional communications about your exam, results, and scholarship. Marketing communications are opt-in.
Final decisions on the exam. All decisions of the Company on exam conduct, evaluation, and results are final and binding. No re-evaluation is offered. In case of a genuine technical issue, you may write to support@pbise.in; the Company may, at its sole discretion, offer a re-attempt slot.
Governing law. Indian law; courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

1. Use of Website

The website provides information about PBISE, including registration, exam schedules, syllabus, eligibility, and scholarship details, and information about associated undergraduate programs at BPDC. Users must use the website only for lawful purposes. Unauthorised use may result in legal action. The Company may restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

2. Relationship with BITS Pilani Dubai Campus

PBISE is the official sponsored scholarship examination of BITS Pilani Dubai Campus. BPDC sponsors PBISE; the Company operates the examination, registration platform, and ancillary services under that sponsorship arrangement. The scholarship structure, slabs, criteria for award, and list of partner programs (if any) are determined by BPDC. Scholarship awards are made by BPDC at its discretion in accordance with criteria published by BPDC.

The Company is not BPDC and is not an educational institution. The Company does not admit students, enrol students, deliver academic instruction, or confer degrees. PBISE-related admission decisions, scholarship disbursements, and related institutional matters lie exclusively with BPDC.

3. Eligibility and Registration

PBISE is offered to students who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Company in consultation with BPDC. Eligibility requirements are communicated through the website and are built into the registration process and exam-related features.

Applicants must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. The Company reserves the right to reject any registration, disqualify any candidate, or recommend withholding of a scholarship at any stage if a candidate is found to be ineligible, has misrepresented information, has circumvented eligibility checks, or has provided fraudulent details. The Company shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate information provided by the candidate.

Admission to BPDC is a separate process governed by BPDC. BPDC obtains its own consents and conducts its own verification at the time of application for admission and scholarship disbursement.

4. Exam Fee

PBISE is offered free of charge. There is no fee to register for or take the exam. We will never request payment, gift cards, recharge codes, cryptocurrency, or any other consideration for PBISE registration, the examination, results, or scholarship processing.

Any individual or entity demanding payment in the name of PBISE registration, results, scholarship release, or related services is not authorised by us. The Company shall not be responsible for any such transaction. Suspected fraud should be reported immediately to support@pbise.in.

5. Exam Conduct and Rules

By registering for PBISE, candidates agree to follow all exam rules, instructions, and codes of conduct communicated by the Company, including those relating to identity verification, timing, permitted materials, and integrity of attempt.

The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to:

Modify the exam schedule, format, syllabus, duration, or mode of delivery at any time.
Cancel, reschedule, or invalidate an attempt where malpractice, technical issues, or other circumstances warrant.
Disqualify any candidate found engaging in cheating, impersonation, or any conduct that compromises the integrity of the exam.

Finality of decisions. All decisions of the Company on exam conduct, evaluation, results, and disqualification are final and binding. No re-evaluation of marking is offered, and no correspondence will be entertained in respect of evaluation or scoring.

Technical issues. If a candidate is unable to complete the exam due to a genuine technical issue, the candidate may write to support@pbise.in within forty-eight (48) hours of the affected attempt, with the registration ID and a brief description of the issue. The Company may, at its sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis, offer a re-attempt slot. The Company is not obliged to offer a re-attempt, and the decision of the Company on whether to offer one, and on the conditions of any such offer, is final and binding.

6. Scholarships and Awards

Scholarships and awards under PBISE are offered subject to the terms applicable to the relevant scholarship program as published by BPDC. Eligibility for or receipt of a scholarship does not constitute a guarantee of admission to any educational institution. Admission decisions are taken by BPDC (or the relevant partner institution) in accordance with its own admission policies.

BPDC (and the Company acting on BPDC's behalf) reserves the right to modify scholarship amounts, criteria, terms of disbursal, and the list of partner programs at any time without prior notice. Such modifications shall apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including text, graphics, images, question papers, sample papers, syllabi, videos, and downloadable materials, is the property of Edzok226 Innovations Pvt Ltd unless otherwise stated. Certain content may be jointly owned with or licensed from BPDC and is used under the terms of that arrangement.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission. Any unauthorised use may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

"PBISE" and "Pre-Board International Scholarship Examination" are marks used by the Company in connection with this examination. The BPDC name, logos, and crests are the property of BPDC and are used by the Company only with BPDC's permission, within the scope of the sponsorship arrangement.

8. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing.
Attempt unauthorised access to the website, its servers, databases, or any associated systems.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to extract data from the website without permission.
Disrupt or interfere with the functioning, security, or availability of the website.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent any affiliation.
Engage in conduct that exploits, harms, or endangers other users.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the website or registering for PBISE, you also consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Your rights as a Data Principal (DPDP Act, 2023). You have the right to:

Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing activities relating to it.
Request correction, completion, updation, and erasure of your personal data.
Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
Withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing but will, where applicable, result in deletion of associated data within 30 days, subject to lawful retention requirements.
File a grievance with the Company (Section 16).

No profiling for advertising. The Company does not use personal data collected through PBISE for behavioural advertising or targeted profiling.

Cross-border transfers. Limited PBISE-related data may be shared with BPDC, located in the United Arab Emirates, for scholarship eligibility assessment, scholarship disbursement, and admission processing. Such transfers are subject to safeguards consistent with the DPDP Act and any rules notified under it. Details are described in the Privacy Policy.

The Company takes reasonable measures to protect user data but does not guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The website may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services, including exam-hosting platforms, BPDC's own websites, payment gateways for partner programs, and analytics providers. The Company is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement, other than the sponsorship relationship with BPDC described in Section 2.

12. Disclaimer

Information on this website is provided for general guidance and may be updated without notice. Reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy. The Company does not warrant that the website, its content, or the exam services will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Exam dates, syllabi, scholarship terms, and partner arrangements are subject to change at the discretion of the Company and BPDC.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting the Company's obligations under the DPDP Act, 2023 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:

The Company's aggregate liability to any user, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the website or PBISE services, shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Rupees One Thousand) or any amount actually paid by the user to the Company in respect of PBISE in the preceding twelve months (normally zero, as PBISE is free), whichever is higher.
The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, opportunity, or reputation, arising out of or in connection with use of or inability to use the website or exam services; errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content; or technical failures, server downtime, or data loss.
Nothing in this Section excludes or limits liability for matters that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability arising from gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud, or breach of statutory data-protection obligations.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Edzok226 Innovations Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

15. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, strikes, or other technical failures.

We will:

Acknowledge receipt of any complaint within twenty-four (24) hours.
Respond substantively within thirty (30) days of receipt, in accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021.

If you are not satisfied with our response, or do not receive a response within the timelines above, you may escalate to:

The Data Protection Board of India established under the DPDP Act, 2023, for data-protection complaints; or
The appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, for consumer complaints.

17. Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the website or participation in PBISE after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Termination

The Company may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, terminate or suspend access to the website or to a user's registration if the user violates these Terms or engages in conduct the Company deems harmful to the exam, other users, BPDC, or the Company.

Termination does not relieve the user of obligations accrued before termination, nor does it affect provisions that by their nature survive termination, including intellectual property, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, and data-protection rights and obligations.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the rights of consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to approach consumer forums of their choosing, any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

20. Compliance with Indian Laws

This website and the conduct of PBISE comply with applicable Indian laws, including:

The Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and rules notified thereunder.
The Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
The Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018 (TRAI UCC).

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy (if any), and any rules or notices published on the website, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the website and participation in PBISE, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
